| There's a good handful of good companies. I personally use and prefer Wellness. But many like Royal Canin, Stella & Chewy, Blue Buffalo, Blue Wilderness, etc. I'm sure other will give you more names that you can choose from. I decided on Wellness after reading through Dog Food Reviews and Ratings | Dog Food Advisor That would be a good site to check on as it'll break down and talk about some of the ingredients and so on. I would make treats on and off for my furbabies and there are lots of good recipes out there, but if the dog has special needs it's best to talk to a vet or pet nutritionist.

| Everything is going to have good and bad you just have to figure out which company deserves your trust. If you home cook you will need to get a recipe by a vet nutritionist and use a supplement. You can check out balanceit.com.

| Piper likes and is doing well with Natural Nutro (for small dogs); I sprinkle some canned chicken pieces and heat (chicken) water to pour over it. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I feed premade raw by Primal. But some nice kibbles are Natures Logic, Solid Gold Wee Bits or Barking at the Moon, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Wellness CORE, Orijen/Acana.

YT Addict | I also like welness and i use it for both my pappilon and yorky. My pap ate to much people food so when i got my yorky i used the opportunity to break her. They both eat it well. I only give them chick and rice and veggies |
