| He can *almost* make it onto the couch...lol I haven't put steps to the couch because I'd rather Sheldon just stay down because I'm scared of a tumble, but he is sooooooo close to being able to jump up. This is shocking because he really is a small fry. Guess I'm gonna have to invest in some couch stairs. Sigh. Lol. |

| Awww, lol. I had saw not too long ago and type of dog bed that's like a large night stand with steps. It's leveled to most bed height and enables your dog to sleep next to you on your level in his own bed. Would love to get that but can only imagine the cost, and I don't really have much room ^^; My girl is big enough to kind of glimpse over the couch edge and maybe work herself down from the lower ends, but still is too small to jump. Was tempted to buy them steps, but the last time I did with our previous yorkies, they never used it ><;

| Lola figured out how to get on the couch at 12 weeks and 2.5lbs. I think she dug her nails in and pulled herself up. She's really good about using her steps for my bed and stools for the couches, she doesn't like getting up or down without them. |

That is so cute that youa re considering stairs for the couch!!!! My parents have Yorkie stairs to their bed. However, I need stairs just to get on their bed as its a massive four poster thing.. I never thought Teddy would be able to make it to the couch but he surprised me one day by tilting back, in a lunging position, and making a running jump from the hallway to my couch and VOILA was suddenly in my lap!!! I wanted to tell him off because this is clearly bad manners but it made me laugh so..you can probably guess how that went. | |

| They're like little mountain goats! Abbi (6.5 lbs) jumped from the bed into my granddaughter's Pack'n'Play and I thought to myself "Well, at least I know how to contain you now!". Wrongo. She scaled the corner of that playpen until she reached the top rail and jumped out. I mean, she dug her nails in and climbed! Incredible. You just can't hold them back sometimes. |

| BobbiB, I have the stairs to the couch. He uses them when I am sitting here so they will use them. I didn't think they were a waste of money, but you do have to teach them to use em.

| Right now I just stack up the couch pillows and he uses those...lol. When he tries to jump, he mostly just jumps right into the side of the couch. |

| I still use my couch pillows for Hannah and she's 1 1/2 yrs. old. She mainly uses her stairs to get in and out of her stroller. I should probably pick up another set of stairs for the couch. She enjoys using them but for now the pillows are working fine as long as she uses them to get off of the couch. The things we do to get snuggle time with our babies!!

| Once they learn, there is no keeping them down. Peanut started jumping up and getting hold of the top of the couch with his nails and then climbing up on the couch. He now just jumps up there. We have the little stairs but he only uses them when he has a toy in his mouth and wants to take it up on the couch. We have stairs up to our bed that we had for our schnauzer. He just watched her use them and followed her right up and down them. |

| I have steps for my couch, but its for my Shih Tzu not Athena. Zeus my Shih Tzu has a condition that causes him to have a really crooked leg, also a knee condition. So we have to try to limit his jumping as much as possible. Athena doesnt need it. that girl jumps like crazy and rally high to. she has no problems getting on or off the coach what so ever. |

| Ali has such long legs she goes wherever she wants, it's ridiculous. The couch would be fine but she jumps up to the top of the couch and perches like a cat. My Shelby had short legs, didn't do this so it's new to me. Not loving it. |

| I have stairs for both the bed & the couch. Stanley used to get up & down without them, but doesn't even try now that he's so used to them.
