| Will only eat food hidden around the house :-) So Gizmo has started this really funny thing, and I don't know why lol. For a couple days he was being really picky about his food and not eating that great, so my husband had the brilliant idea of hiding his kibble in a bunch of different places for him, such as in his snuggle sack, under the coffee table, behind the pillows on the couch, well you get the idea :-) so Gizmo started finding it and gobbling it right up when he would find it. Well now he is constantly hunting for food haha, and eats all he finds, which is a good amount. The only problem now is he won't eat out of his bowl at all :-( so apparently I'm going to have to hide his food from him or the rest of his life? LOL. Has anyone else's fur baby developed this "I want to hunt for my own food" attitude? I'm stumped, I have never had a dog do this before, he is such a quirky little guy hehehe. | Try a treat ball. That way he still has to work for it but it is easier to monitor what and when he eats. I put Huey's 1/4 cup of kibble in the treat ball & he gobbles it up. He loves it. Food in the bowl might last a day or more. We have this one (but I discarded the little treats that came with it. They seemed very dangerous to me-tiny enough to swallow whole but very hard & plastic-like) NylaboneŽ Romp 'n Chomp Rubber Wobbler - Dog - PetSmart
