| Favorite Vacation Locations with Furbabies So, tell me about your favorite vacation spots with your furbabies. Vacations that don't require air travel that is. We will be driving and since we're new to traveling with a pet would like to know some of your experiences. |

| My daughter & I went to Carolina Beach, North Carolina a few years ago and had a great time. She just bought herself a puppy last weekend & one of the first things she talked about was us going back to NC with the pups & renting an ocean front property next summer.

| Sarasota Florida In all seriousness, I live here and it's the most dog friendly place I've visited to date

| Cape san blas fla, south of panama city beach. Pet Friendly beach, pet friendly vacation homes. The one we love has a screened in pool & hot tub, directly on the beach, 3br 2.5 bath, quiet town with a fantastic raw Oyster bar right down the street. Love it!

| Gettysburg PA is very pet friendly. Most of the stores allow them and they have a few outdoor restaurants and hotels that are very accommodating. I have yet to being Jax (because I've always flown) but every time I've flown into Savannah, GA and go to South Carolina both of those areas seem very dog friendly! My hometown of Annapolis, Md is very dog friendly. Most campgrounds tend to be too. I think I read that Oregon maybe or maybe it was Seattle? Is one of the most dog friendly places.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Colorado in general is very dog friendly, and we found that to be true. When I lived in Boulder, we'd always see dogs at the bars and stuff.

YT 500 Club Member | I love Hilton Head Island. Most beaches are pet friendly but you need to check. I know at HHI you can have pets on the beach but from Memorial Day to Labor Day they can only be on the beach before 9:00AM and after 4:00PM. A lot of beaches are like that. We Lovett get a house there in September after school starts back (GREAT rates and not crowded at all).

YT 2000 Club Member | We vacationed for many years on Leach Lake in Minnesota. The resort was just sold last year. The little town on the lake is Walker, Minn. and it is very dog friendly. I took Tameka with me in every store except ones that sell food. It is a tourist town and most stores are used to people having their dogs on vacation with them. I sure will miss going there this year.

You pictures remind me of Holden Beach, NC!! WOW! I'm missing the ocean really bad now! I feel some whining to my family coming on today... LOL! We haven't taken Cinders on Vacation yet. It really looks like something we can do though! Great pictures, even if they made me want to travel to the coast!
