| DIY dog harness knot? Can anyone make sense of this? It has no pictures and its driving me a little crazy! Sounds like it might be a good knot in a pinch but I can't figure it out. How to Make a Dog Harness | DoItYourself.com |

| I am intrigued but this tutorial definitely needs pictures! Before taking dogs on walks, we used to make a quick harness out of a collar and 2 leashes at the shelter that I used volunteer with...the way in the link sounds like it'd be better but it sounds so dang complicated and confusing lol |

| Yep, you're right, it is confusing. I'm a Navy Vet and we learn all about different knots in Basic Training and I can't figure out what they are doing. Sorry, I'm just no help!! Good luck!! If you get it figure out, please post picts!

| See if you can search DIY rope dog harness with illustrations on Google or Google Images and see what you get. Maybe someone else has this same thing with an illustration.

| Haha. Maybe ask a sailor or a cowboy on one of their forums - don't they know all about all kinds of roping and knots and harnesses of all kinds for animals and boats and things? Maybe you could contact that website and ask the writer of that article for an illustration.

| Oh lord I knew an old cowboy who knew ropes and all kinds of ties and harnesses etc. A lot of cowboys and sailors that live the lifestye all their lives - not those that were just in the Navy or worked at a cowboy job for a while - but those who are cowboys in the saddle now and are sailors who plough the seas on a daily basis still likely will know. Haha. I wasn't talking so much Navy Veterans or servicemen but sailors who work the seas fishing and hauling, etc., as part of their lifestyle.

| I'd say just go to Petco. Sorry just being funny. Yea I would need pictures for that one. I'm very arts and crafts type of person, but that one was over my head.
