| Hi, I just purchased an Iris x pen from Amazon. It's nice because it has a door on the side that can be left opened or closed. I have mine on tile but I have read where people buy a small piece of linoleum for the bottom.

| I use wire, and put cheap vinyl tablecloth underneath. I buy after seasonal tablecloths for $1.50 at Walmart. We have Santa tablecloths on the floor all summer long.. LOL Mine is on carpet so I put an office/desk hard plastic floor protector down 1st then the tablecloth. |

| we have the iriris plastic x pen. We made a top for it out of those wired closet shelving since we have a climber in the house. The x pen is in the kitchen and is only use when we are not home. I usually just put in one of Jasmin's bath towel or blanket along with two toys and water bowl. If we are gone for longer than 4 hrs, she will have accidents so the bathtowels are awesome. |

| I have the wire one, and its on carpet. I have it set up with the crate inside and the door to the crate is always open. I have Joey walk through the xpen never over the top. His sisters crate is right next door, so they can talk to eachother all day I got the 36 inch one because I wanted it to be the same height as Carleys crate.

| This is the one I have: SeaBreeze Petite Pens - A lightweight solution to heavy exercise pens I've had it for about 9 years. It's especially great for travel because it is very lightweight. Columbo's breeder recommended it when we got him because she uses it when traveling for shows. We use it instead of a crate when needed. You can also stretch it out and block off rooms, doors, etc. I also use it sometimes to block the open part across the steps on our covered front porch and block him in. It has vinyl protectors on the top and bottom to protect the floors. Last edited by bobohyde; 03-10-2013 at 08:48 AM. |
