| top knot How old were your yorkies before you were able to get a top knot done? Chloe is 5 months and her hair isn't log enough yet. I was just curious how long it takes.

| Both mine got them at around that age but Laddy's was pretty short when he got his first one so we used the claw clips for it.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | At 3 months I can put my puppies hair up in topknots....now whether or not there are some wispy's that need "gluing" down is another story.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Joey's breeder was able to put a topknot in at 12 weeks, but I needed it much longer before I could do it. One trick is to put the topknot down further on their forehead, not on top.

| Both of our rescues refuse to leave the bows in their top hair. One shakes them out, and the other pulls it out. Don't like the rubber bands because they pull and break their hair. I use the clip ones mostly. Shelby will leave a bow in if we are going out, just not around the house. First chance she gets, shake, shake, shake.....Lily pulls hers out and brings it to me....it's almost like she is saying....I don't like these......lol |
