| OH MY GOSH!!!!!!! I'm glad your baby seems to be okay. It might be a good idea to get your vet to take a look at her to make sure she doesn't have internal damage. Were the owners of the other dogs there?

| Unfortunately larger dogs see any small furry animal as a target just as yorkies see mice and rats as this. You are realy lucky the way thinks turned out. If its any consolation by the way you describe it if the dogs ment to kill her they would have done sounds like they were toying with her. She is one lucky little lady. I bet you are still shaking with the shock.

| crap I would have been terrified! In fact, I probably would have peed my pants if some random dog came out of no where and attacked my girls. Poor Bella! Isn't there a leash law on the beaches? If not, there certainly should be!

| I NEVER take my baby off a leash when I am out in public, for just this reason! With a leash intact and connected to a harness that fits properly, you can at least swing your baby up into your arms and fend off an attacking dog with an axe handle or bear spray! |

| Many years ago, I was walking my standard poodle puppy on a leash when she was four months old and a little chihuahua dashed out and sliced up my poor puppy's underside before I could manage to get my puppy up into my arms. I was shocked that such a little dog could do so much damage and it scared my poodle so badly, she was never the same again. She was always fearful and terrified at anything new. It reminds me of the growth cycles mentioned about Yorkies, where they go through a real timid time again at about four months. I always grieved that I could not have protected my sweet puppy better, but she was so big already, I couldn't just swing her up into my arms--especially with a nasty little chihuahua hanging onto her skin from below! I hope your little dog turns out to be okay. I get very frustrated with inconsiderate dog owners who allow their aggressive animals free to cause torment to the sweet innocent others. |

| Oh my gosh! So glad she's alive! I would have a vet look her over. They may have stood on her and could have caused some internal damage. Check her often for any skin discoloration and any abdominal swelling. Some bruises may not show up right away. Also, she could go into shock...

| How scary! What did the owners say to you? I can't believe they attacked her... I would have given them a tongue lashing! I'm so glad she's okay, but I agree... I would still have a vet look over her. My friend's chi was attacked by a pittie and seemed fine, but died due to internal injuries...

| Glad she seems ok but I would still have a vet check her out and then I would file a complant with animal control.
