| Needing help with my step son volunteer job with a rescue group. I have put a lot of post up today I hope nobody thinks I am obsessive. My stepson is going to be spending a part of his summer doing volunteer work for a yorkie rescue that I help with along with a local shelter. He really did not get to pick the location I did since I am doing the transport. He is 14 and we are trying to get into early college program I want him to know other peoples thoughts and views about these little babies. He has been around them for 7 years and he knows my feelings which are one sided. I am going to be posting several questions over the next few days so he has different views and he can better help out people over the summer Thanks. Dee and her owners/mom Mollie Izzie and Abbie

YT 1000 Club Member | I applaud both you and your son for your volunteer efforts. What an excellent opportunity for him and I will watch for your posts in the hopes I can share some of my first hand experiences with my Romeo.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That's such a great experience for him. We desperately need to educate the next generation on the terrible overpopulation of dogs and cats in this country and what better way then to see first hand the innocent victims.

| I think it will be a wonderful way for a teenager to spend the summer & he will learn a lot about dogs & people. He will grow up a lot. It takes a tough skin. What he hears at that shelter in particular is going to rock his world some days, no doubt. It is really hard to believe the state some dogs are in when they arrive & some of the things people do & say about the dog. It's tough work on many levels, as you well know. Kudos to him & you for doing this hard but loving work.
