| Missing overnight My grandchild walked out and left my door open and my yorkie ran away. We looked all last night and all today. We live in Massachusetts so it is around 30-35 degrees overnight. Can she live being out in the cold? I am frantic and don't know what to do. |

| I am so sorry to read this. I don't know if your baby would have survived, but I would keep searching...call the shelters, and do everything you would normally do to find her. I know there are others here that know lots more than me... Please check back with any news.

| I'm sure she probably found someplace a bit warmer....under someones deck or in some leaves or bushes. I would think instinct would lead them to the warmest place possible. Hopefully she comes out during the day and someone will find her. Unfortunately the shelters are probably not open on Sunday. Good luck and think positive. |

| Prayers your girl is home safe and sound VERY soon. When our previous little girl went missing, we put flyers up in our neighborhood... a kind soul had taken her in and contacted us as soon as she saw our info. We were blessed to get her back and I pray that you will be blessed with a good neighbor too.

| I hope you find her soon. I definitely think she could survive those temperatures provided she doesn't encounter any predators. |

| Oh no. I am so sorry. Hoping you find her very soon. Predators are a huge problem in my area. That and people stealing them. Have you contacted your humane society or animal control?? Put up flyers? Hopefully someone will find her and return her to you.

| I hope someone was humane enough to take your boy in overnight. Have you tried walking along your normal walk-route, if you do walk, or the park you go to? Dexter knows when we are driving to grandma's now, it's like he remembers the route, so maybe your boy will have to if you drive places? |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Oh dear, so sorry to hear that. Check out any places like under your deck, your garage and or shed, those kinds of spots. I see someone posted the link how to find a missing dog. When our cat went missing, we did go door to door on our street and neighbouring streets, and posted flyers. We started close to home and then circled outwards. all neighbourhood vets got the flyer. It was four days but finally our cat returned home.
