MY vet does check for chips...especially if it is a new customer, or if it is an old customer that has a new dog....often times they do the scan in the back if they take the baby to the back for any reason.....as much as I would like to believe in pet psychics, I have never seen one that found anyones dog.....and I have listened to people say what THEIR psychic told them about THEIR lost dog, and I can tell you this....all of them have said the SAME thing to all the owners whose dogs they are looking for.

Mine does too... getting a new older dog raises an eyebrow and they will make some excuse to take the dog in the back if the person does not suggest a scan to begin with.

I just heard a radio ad for this. i thought it could be very helping for someone (in the states) who has a missing pet.

USPS offers mailing service to every household in a certain area. i have NO idea how much something like this would cost, but i couldn't help but share it.

it's nice that you wouldn't need all the name and addresses of everyone in the area the dog was lost, but you would know that at least they got a flyer about...i thought it may guilt the person who has the dog, if that's what happened to your baby.

anyway i thought it was a neat option, that i hadn't heard discussed yet.
