Senior Yorkie Talker | New hair cut I had been growing Bentley it from a shave he had months ago. Then I got it in my head that I wanted him to have the "Joey" cut. So I took him and showed pics and explained that I didn't want his tail hair cut, and not to cut the hair in between his eyes bc Im growing it out. I went to get him and of course they shaved his tail, and in between his eyes. I didn't make a big deal of it bc I don't tnk they do this cut often. I just asked that next time they leave his tail alone and not to shave in between his eyes again. She said, "oh, if u don't shave in between his eyes it will get infected". I just said, "no, it'll get LNG enough to lay flat." it annoys me that they try to push it so hard to cut that. And I was proud I didn't get really upset bc we were SO close to getting past that terrible awkward phase. Over all I really like the cut tho. It's perfect bc my husband is not a fan of the long hair but I can't and won't ever shave him all the way down again. My husband loves the fuzzy feel of the shaved down places and I like that with a shirt on his looks like he has longer hair. I can't Post pics from my iPad but will later on our computer. It really is the perfect cut for warmer weather IMO and I have this awesome site to thank for finding it I can't wait for the hair on his legs to get longer and for all the hair to go up in his top knot. I know he loves it too |

| I'll bet he looks adorable. I'm sorry they cut between his eyes and clipped his tail down. I don't know why people do this and think they know more than you do.

| I honestly think that some groomers only know how to do one cut. How do they figure they can go against your request for your pet? |

| He looks really cute. The first pic is a little dark because the light is coming from behind him instead of shining on him. Try to get him when there isn't a bright window behind him. It's good enough to see his legs. Looks good to me. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Please excuse his messy messy pony today...haha! These are in better light. I just dont know. I like it, then I dont. I love the idea, I just dont think they did it how I had wanted and his leg hair needs to grow out some more. http://i1086.photobucket.com/albums/...9/2df6699a.jpg http://i1086.photobucket.com/albums/...9/f5c8e18d.jpg |

| He looks good to me! I wondered if the boys should get topknots/ponytails. I think they look fine, but the pretty bow might make people think they are girls. Do they make elastics/clips that are more "boy"? Maybe not a bow, just plain colored elastic? Or maybe with a sports theme? I never thought about it much before, but I think I would assume girl if he has a bow. I got a girl partly because I didn't want my baby to mark my house and because I wanted to be able to put dresses on if I felt like it. Turns out I don't dress her that much anyway except when it's cold. She's a little big (9.5) and I think I'd dress her more often if she were smaller. |

| I just uploaded a few pics of Maggie into an album. Never did that before. Is there a thread that shows when people update or add albums? |

Senior Yorkie Talker | I shaved Bentley down once because everyone constantly assumed he was a girl. Even shaved though so many ppl just think girl girl girl. I've given up on that. Haha! Not only do I think he looks funny shaved but it really didn't make him any more manly looking. Haha! I put bow in his hair all the time. Pink, blue, purple....all of them. I love him with long hair but we are so outdoorsy that this suits us better. Long but short. Haha! I love his top knot and I try to never assume any yorkie is a boy or girl. Thanks everyone. He's my handsome little guy. |

| He's very cute! I would have been very upset about the hair cut between his eyes. I think they did a great job though! I groom my two myself to avoid paying someone else to mess them up.
