| No you don't, I didn't tape Miss Mias ears, I figured if they were meant to be they will be. I didn't have to tape Miss Minis ears, they came up, one week one came up, the next week the other! I kind of like the floppy ear look. Theres a recent thread about this...there are lots of floppy eared Yorkies here! I think they look beautiful either way!

| Charlie's ears both use to be floppy. Now one is constantly up, the other always floppy (even when sleeping). I have one pic of it in my albums you can see after his first trim. I like them. I do wonder if the other will come up. They have been this way for several weeks. |

| Whatever you prefer is what you should do...Prissy's was standing up but the tips flopped and I loved them but then all of a sudden the ears were both up..I think I liked the floppy tips better, just too stinking cute.

| no you don't have to tape the years, Teegy's weren't and it's not a practice my breeder practices so if Tufty ends up with floppy ears then so be it. |

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | I love floppy ears too! If you like them the way they are, I would not tape them. Katie Scarlett's ears were up when we got her, but her sisters were all still down. They were all adorable!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I didn't know anythng about taping ears at the time. They came up on their own at around 4-5 mo. First one ear, then the other a couple weeks later. Actually it didn't matter to me, and I would even been happy with one up & one down. She looked cute that way. They look cute up too, but I could have gone either way.

| I do kinda wish Charlie's ears stay one up, one down. It makes him a little unique and fits his personality. It makes me hesitant to get his ears trimmed too in the event it will start to come up! Is that cruel to let them grow longer and just have a mini-trim? Can I just have a little trim done, but do make sure they get the hair out of the inside of his ears and clean that area up??? |

| Sophie Kate is a combo of ear up and floppy (if that is possible) for the most part her ears are up but the tips flop over.

| Lucy has floppy ears too. I think they are darling. If you love your Tutybear with floppy ears, then I say leave them untaped! I'm sure he's adorable.
