YT 2000 Club Member | I still don't like the ingredients :-( And chicken fat is listed as the 4th ingredient which in large breeds tend to cause problems with bloat :-( Don't know about the small breeds though.

| Bella gets Royal Canin, I seen the 'Toy' bags. I was wondering if I should switch or leave her on it....she eats good, poops good and seem healthy...but I keep wondering if there is something better and if I should be feeding her that. It is confusing! |

| Looks like this could work very well for Yorkies. It is made to meet energy needs of very small dogs, so I wonder if it helps keep blood glucose stable to help prevent hypoglycemia.

| Interesting marketing strategy but also a very silly one IMO. So should i now feed the Yorkshire Terrier 28 or the X-Small Adult? or maybe i should mix half and half. Also the X-Small Puppy and the Mini Puppy are pretty much the same formula. |

| I go with the YT28 formula. I don't think you need to mix them.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | We use RC too. It was what the breeder had Katie Scarlett on when we got her so we kept her on it. She seems to do really well on it. She's happy, energetic, healthy, and poops/pees good. I too though have thought of maybe swapping to something else when she gets in the adult stage. I just am not sure. It's all so confusing.

| Yeah, i guess it is similar to the yorkie 28 & 29 but if it is really tiny pieces ,i thought those already feeding royal canin who have yorkies of 1 to 3 pounds may be interested. Oscar is 6 pounds and he has a hard time chewing some of the bigger kibble. |

| We also use for Jasper RC for Yorkie Puppies 28 since the breeder was using it. |

Great brand name, though, and really swell idea to formulate for breeds and sizes! It fails for me in execution. Sorry...I really truly don't mean to hurt anyone in any way, or start a controversy, but I've been studying ingredients for far too long now, and if this was human food, I wouldn't touch it and because it's dog food, I wouldn't feed it to my babies unless it was the last possible option between them and starvation or extremely temporary...the same kind of temporary as giving candy to children. <Carefully putting soap box away for safekeeping...and politely tip-toe-ing away...> Take care!
