I might sound way too neurotic and picky, but I have done actually much research into stuff like this over many years, and the ingredients would stop me cold. I don't know about the bloat/chicken fat issue, but I already avoid too many of these ingredients because they are likely from GMO sources, are/or contain (free unbound glutamate) excitatory neurotoxins, plus vegetable oils are at least long term toxic due to high heat refinement and/or hydrogenation even if not from GMO and/or known toxic sources, sprayed to high heaven with pesticides, and there are 'vague' ingredients on the list which invokes wondering what they really are. There is way too much grain for a basically carnivorous canine, and, besides their likely GMO factor, there is the excessive pesticide issue as well. Plus, there is way too much in the way of grains, bulkers and fillers, and way too much salt for me to be comfortable with it. (Skipping over the vitamin chemical compounds...) Lastly, I'd want to know all about the chicken and it's fat, was it pumped up with excitatory neurotoxin-loaded 'broth' or injected with growth hormones and antibiotics, were the chickens fed an unnatural diet of GMO corn and grains, too, were its living quarters sanitary, plus there's the processing issue, and whether or not the processing water was fluoridated.

Great brand name, though, and really swell idea to formulate for breeds and sizes! It fails for me in execution.

Sorry...I really truly don't mean to hurt anyone in any way, or start a controversy, but I've been studying ingredients for far too long now, and if this was human food, I wouldn't touch it and because it's dog food, I wouldn't feed it to my babies unless it was the last possible option between them and starvation or extremely temporary...the same kind of temporary as giving candy to children. <Carefully putting soap box away for safekeeping...and politely tip-toe-ing away...>

Take care!
