| What time does your Yorkie wake you? Our Dexter starts napping at 8pm, we take him out at 9-10PM, he then goes to bed. For the month we have him he would go till 5AM. Now i he is up at 4AM. He barks to go out. He is 6 months old ans sleeps in the crate. |

| Try feeding him a snack or small meal before bedtime... they sleep longer on a full tummy.

| Never.... lol. No typically he will sleep in until at least 10am. It's usually me getting us up and out of bed. If he can, he will sleep until 11. But I take him out for last potty around midnight most nights. He knows not to mess with my sleep. I would just be firm, but nice, and sort of give a little 'lay down' and he would go back to bed. I could always tell if he really needed to go or if he was just being a pain in the butt. As a pup, of course, he was up early. I'd say by 6 months, though, he was a pretty good sleeper. The only time he's an early riser is at my dads house because there's kid off to school, other dogs, cats, etc, so a lot going on that he can't miss. I'd get him a lot of exercise -- good exercise always makes for a more tired dog, maybe a later potty break.

| If I give him a snack, would that cause him to want to go poop an hour or two later? |

| Mine have been a pain recently... Waking me at least 2 times/night! We have been trying to adjust their feeding schedule to try to see if they sleep longer. We are routinely woken up at 12 and again at 3 or right before we wake up at 6. I would pay a lot of money for them to just wake us up at 5!

| Toby has an internal clock out of this world. Every morning once the alarm goes off, he knows that means it's time to eat and won't stop barking until I get up and feed them. Same thing around 4 pm. He will come and start nosing me and jumping up at me. He knows it's time to eat and he won't stop till I feed him. Ugh! The things we do for these little darlins!

| Lola woke me up about 5:30am every single day as a pup. She would do her potty, have her breakfast, and play until about noon. 12pm on the dot she would start to get droopy and would be put in her crate for a nap. Around 2:30pm back up for snacky time then play until dinner. After dinner cuddle time, then potty then bed. She was perfectly scheduled (I wasn't to happy about the 5am wake up calls though). Now shes in bed till noon every day, and takes lots of naps. She's a lazy butt now!

You can also try to change his clock. Every couple of days let him out 5 minutes later, until he's more in line with your schedule.

| Bella wakes me up at 3am for a poopy, and then she's right back to sleep again. However, I can't get back to sleep once she's up at 3 because my husband snores. She wakes up for the day around 6:30-7am. |

| I guess I lucked out...Sunny wakes up when we wake up....during the week we are up at 5:30 am, DH works out of town and needs to wake up at this hour. But during the weekend or on days off, she will sleep til whenever. She gets alot of excersize during the evening though...she typically doesnt go down until about an hour before we do. She is either playing withh her sisters or chilling out on our bed with a pig ear or bully stick. Bobbi

| Sophie Kate wakes me up at 6:00 am regardless of the day and her internal clock is set to Eastern time which means we get up even earlier when we travel West. I have no need for an alarm any longer but the good thing is she has made my morning workouts a reality.

| Kiko doesn't usually wake me up on weekdays. We get drug out of bed by the pesky alarm clock around 0530. On days that we get to sleepin (weekends mostly) she will get up any where between 700 and 900 depending on how late we stayed up and when she went out last. |
