Embarassed I'm so sad...what to do.. I need to make friends...

Today makes four days Brandy is away from home. I feel like the time is just moving so slow for her to get better and come home. I have been reading everyones post but I want to cry every time I hear someone lost their furbaby because mine is sick. It's funny how much you love them once you get them. What can I do to past the time for missing her. I folded up her bed and her create, put away all the toys but the apartment is so lonely.. I think it's time to make friends to get by... I have six more days...

everyone seems so nice here and I wanted to ask is anyone wants to be my new buddy.. My baby is three months, very energetic, and matches me big time. My husband got her for me as a early christmas present because it was love at first sight. Can anyone tell me their story about how the fell for their baby...

She'll be home soon enough. Once you get her healthy, you'll have a friend for life.

We got Bailey from Craigslist. The minute we walked in he was jumping up and down. He still does it every time I walk in the door.

I will be happy to be your friend. I'm lost as to what is wrong with your baby but i can tell that she will be home soon and that is great. My husband surprised me with Ben in March and he is my everything. They are so sweet and have such wonderful personalities. Ben will be 1 year old Dec 17 and I bought him a pup pie lol. What we do for our babies. I hope that yours will be home soon.

I just read your post and I would love to be your new buddy. We just get a puppy last Friday. He's a Shih Tzu and he's 8 1/2 weeks old. We really overpaid for this puppy but it was love at first sight. He comes from a breeder and I just couldn't put him back. We had him for 3 days and he developed a sniffle. I called the bredder and he said if we wanted to we could return him (yeah right) I didn't want to take him the the vet he uses because I never trust that. If they are in cahots with the breeder they will tell you anything. I brought hijm to my own vet and although I had to pay I feel confident that I got an honest answer. PS He was given antibiotics and he's doing great today. What's wrong with your puppy?. Oh and by the way, if you need friends YT is the place to be. They are great people and they are there for you when you need them.

I just went to your stats to see what happened to your baby & I see that she has kennel cough. KC can be difficult to treat & is so frustrating but she is where she needs to be if she's having trouble fighting it off. I always suggest that when our babies are hospitalized that you visit as often as you can as they need your love & contact to help give them the will to fight for their lives so visit as often as you can & hopefully she will be home very soon. I will be praying for your little Brandy. Did she develope pneumonia ?

well you came to the right place to spend some time with friends and it does really help the time go by.. So sorry to hear about the kc and i hope she is on the road to recovery and will be home in your arms very very soon. These little dogs seem to find our hearts the moment we see them and they stay there forever. I can not say enough nice things about most of the people on this forum. Everyone has opions and say voice some pretty hard ones to take at times. But know they really really care for the dogs on here and some of them have heard the same questions are problems so much sometimes they have to vent.. One thing for sure everyone here love love their dogs be it yorkies or other breds. So we all share that. Keep us posted and you can spend hours reading through old threads

So sorry to hear about your little Brandy. I can't imagine how difficult it is to wait for her to be home. As someone else suggested, visit her as often as possible to give her strength. In the meantime, please do Brandy and yourself a favor and research and browse through these threads...learn everything you can about this special breed and how to care for them. They can be tricky little furbutts !!

Sending prayers for her little body to get well, come home and start being the center of attention in her new family.

Dear Roz I am sorry your baby is sick and not at home with you. It is so hard seeing them sick. My Cali was so sick when I first got her we were at the vets every week. She finally turned the corner and we have a special bond. If you need to talk pm me and I will give you my phone number. Try and keep busy, take walks, clean closets anything to pass the time. Hugs

I am so sorry to hear your little Brandy is ill and hospitalized right now. My Gidget had kennel cough this past spring. That sound of them coughing goes right through you - they are so little! We will be praying for little Brandy. We are all here for you. Everyone was so helpful and supportive when Gidget had kennel cough.

That's so cute.. My husbands Bbirthday is the same day... would like to b e friends... My Brandy when she came home she was dehydrated, then she developed kennel cough, and that then turned into bronchitis.. I have hadd her for a month but in my house for two weeks.. That's why I'm sad.

Well thank you for the response. Some times you just have to wonder..my husband bought her from a pet shop and I'm guessing that was the problem. She was fine when I got her but three days in she just stoped playing and she got dehydrated, after that I took her to the vet they treated her but I'm guessing from going to the vet over night she caught kennel cough then she finished out her meds and still she was coughing, finally I just couldn't take it took her to a different vet and finally they took a xray and found she didn't have kennel cough but bronchitis.. So now shes under going treatment at the vets office...the pet shop has helped all they can as well, with some of the cost because I did go to three vets and offered to exchange her, But my husband hit the nail on the nose with personality that I was like what? No way.. sucks...

thank you so much for your prays.. She started with being dehydrated, stood at the vet, then she developed kennel cough so I thought, after countless hours and three visits to three different vets I finally found out she has bronchitis... that's whats it was all along.
