| Macie gets up at the crack of dawn!! Im having issues with getting Macie on a normal sleeping schedule. Normally she starts getting sleepy around midnight. If Im lucky, she'll go to sleep around then and not cry in her crate. The older shes getting, the earlier shes been waking up. Its driving me crazy. I make sure she poos and pees before she goes to bed, but for some reason, she gets up around 6am everyday. Some nights, she'll stay up til 3am playing like crazy and still wake up around 7am. Wide awake and ready to play again! How can I get her to sleep later? Lol. If thats even possible. |

| Take her to potty and then put her back in her crate. I would try to set a schedule for what time you go to bed and then what time you get up and stick to it just taking her out to potty if she wakes up and putting her back to bed. When Callie wakes up early I let her out to potty and then we go back to my room but she doesn't really do that anymore unless something isnt quite right. I don't have an exact oh my goodness its time to go to bed right now time but it is normally around the same time every night and Callie knows when I start doing certain things that its time to go out go potty and then go to bed.

| I would say exercise like crazy. LoL. Sometimes I'll take Jackson to the dog park around 6pm and stay for an hour and a half or so and if there were other dogs there to run around with him, he comes home zonked. Or a nice long evening walk. Other than that, I would just say "lay down" and ignore him and make him go back to sleep (when I knew he was old enough to hold it of course). I can tell when he really has to go and when he's just getting up to... get up. Now he sleeps until 11 with me if I want. I udually let him out at midnight for the last time. He happily sleeps in pretty late if I want him to. I also have curtains in my room that block the sunlight and keep it really dark!

| You ignore it. If you take her out when she is barking other then just to go potty then she knows barking it going to get her what she wants and that is to be out of the crate. Is her crate where she can see you?

| Put her in your bed LOL - the day Jackson stopped waking me up in the middle of the night and early was the first night I let him sleep in my bed... the rest is history as they say....

| Can you leave some of one side open so she can see you? I have heard lots of people have success with them not barking when they can see you.
