| Giant spiders! Does anyone know of a safe thing to spray or use around the outside of the house? We are getting huge monster size spiders at least one or two a night they are even scaring Callie who generally likes to play around with spiders and is a 16 pounder. Besides these things being so big they scare the crud out of us they are giant its crazy. I'm hoping someone knows of something we can spray around the back door of our house because that seems to be the where they are coming in but I dont want anything that could hurt Callie.

| We have an exterminator spray around the outside foundation of the house monthly and some spiders are undeterred. I don't think anything you can buy off the shelf is as strong as the stuff the pros use, and the pros are expensive. Nothing is truly safe for dogs, unfortunately. I have to supervise my guys and make sure they don't lick the areas that have been sprayed.

| When I walk through my yard, I get covered in spider webs. It's crazy. They are strung from all the trees and shrubs. No need to decorate for Halloween. The spiders have already done the eaves of the house.

| I hate how spiders webs feel on me its so gross i become a ninja if I walk into one. We have a neighbor who is generally nice and is friends with my grandpa and really likes Callie and says hi to her but his yard is one big giant crazy mess he NEVER mows the grass in his back yard and I know that his yard has to be contributing to the pest problem we have. It just makes me so angry about his yard. Even though I watch Callie like crazy when she is outside if something bit her that came from his yard I think I would go crazy on him.

Do you know, I've even resorted to using the vaccuum cleaner nozzle bit - isn't that awful? Then leaving it outside in the hope they'll run away!!! The one we had in our house last night was big, but not huge - and it was walking, not scuttling, across our lounge floor - like it lived here! Sorry I'm rubbish help, Sally + Harry x | |
