| Manny is getting neutered tomorrow =[ Hey everyone! I'm new to the community.. just mainly been lurking around and reading other threads =] My boy Manny will be getting neutered tomorrow.. he's just a week shy of being 6 months old. I'm really scared for him to go through the procedure.. I hope he will be okay and not be in too much pain afterwards. I already bought him a kiss-e-collar in hopes for making the "cone-of-shame" (from "UP" ;P) a little more bearable. My boyfriend spoke with the vet earlier today to confirm the appointment and to let us know not to feed him after 10pm. However, I was just wondering.. is it okay to let him drink water? Thank you in advance for any feedback you can give =] |

| I believe it was no food or water when I had Riley done back in November.... He did Great and was acting as if Nothing had happened the next day. They gave him Rimadyl for pain. I didn't have to use the e-collar, but would put him a baby onsie, which I got at Target, at night just so he wouldn't lick at the stitches. I am sure Manny will do just fine.......Sending good vibes for a speedy recovery. |

| Praying for you and Manny. My Sassy is being spayed today. I had my 2 boys neutered at 6 months and they did great, acted like nothing happened. he hardest part was leaving them for the day.
