I believe it was no food or water when I had Riley done back in November.... He did Great and was acting as if Nothing had happened the next day. They gave him Rimadyl for pain.
I didn't have to use the e-collar, but would put him a baby onsie, which I got at Target, at night just so he wouldn't lick at the stitches.
I am sure Manny will do just fine.......Sending good vibes for a speedy recovery.
