| Twix I didn't bring him home due to the confusion of the upcoming move (and apartment leasing fear lol)....but we had a photo shoot! I love that little guy! He is doing well. The breeder just took him to the Vet today, he is 2 lbs and almost 3 months. Again, he looked so sad when we left. 1 more month! |

| Exactly what I was thinking. fyi, if you want him to have upright ears, start shaving the tips of the ears to get the weight of the hair off. Also you can tape the ears to train them to stay up. of course there are plenty who love the floppy eared look also. The forever puppy look.

| Good Morning All, Thank you! He is beautiful and has such a warm personality. Leaving him is the saddest thing. I can not wait to get him home! Hey Capt Noonie, the breeder was telling me about taping up the ears as well for them to stand upright. My question is, I know the dog can potentially have ear issues, if they remain floppy does that increase the risk for issues? |

Sounds mean but this is what I do.........I use a good cleaning solution and bought a pair of hemostats. I pluck em out 'against the grain' with those and the ears are always clean and free of moisture. Of course if you cannot do it, the groomer can They do get used to it trust me. My poodle doesn't even blink anymore. When she was about a yr old, she had a nasty ear infection. The vet told me to pluck those hairs and keep em clean. Never had a problem ever since. Oh and lastly, thanks to your post I must now fulfill my urge to eat a TWIX CANDY BAR
