| "Showing" your yorkie I looked for a group that was specific to my question but didnt see it. I was wanting to know, what are the rules if you want to have your yorkie enter one of the shows I see on tv all the time, I mean do they have to be certain colors, height, weight does their hair have to be long cause I never see one with short hair like my Charlie. I am just curious I think Charlie could win (a mothers love talking of course ) LOL Mary and Charlie |

| There's no short answer for this one.. If you will post your questions down in the Show and Information section you will find much more help and information. Sorry I didn't see this earlier but I'm off to bed...but there are several show people that are night owls that I'm sure will be willing to answer your questions.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | The purpose behind conformation showing is evaluation of breeding stock. To show a yorkie you would want him to be an excellent breed specimen that meets the breed standard. Most of the dog shows televised are AKC events, so your dog would need AKC registration.
