"Showing" your yorkie I looked for a group that was specific to my question but didnt see it. I was wanting to know, what are the rules if you want to have your yorkie enter one of the shows I see on tv all the time, I mean do they have to be certain colors, height, weight does their hair have to be long cause I never see one with short hair like my Charlie. I am just curious I think Charlie could win (a mothers love talking of course :luvu:) LOL Mary and Charlie |

Sorry I didn't see this earlier but I'm off to bed...but there are several show people that are night owls that I'm sure will be willing to answer your questions. |
The purpose behind conformation showing is evaluation of breeding stock. To show a yorkie you would want him to be an excellent breed specimen that meets the breed standard.
