| New Mom Hello everyone. My name is Tiffany, and I just thought I would introduce myself. I am a new mommy as of the 17th to Aiko a 9 week old Yorkie (I will post pictures as soon as I can get him to stay back from me and not lick the camera) and have been a mommy to Tocho my Pomeranian for 1.5 years. So far I have been soooo lucky. He doesn't cry at night. Only for the first minute after I put him in the kitchen, and he is already puppy pad trained. However, we do have a problem if he is out playing with my Tocho he will forget to go back to his puppy pad. If I pick Tocho up and put the puppy on the puppy pad most of the he will use it. I keep Aiko locked in the kitchen with a baby gate at night and when I am not home, his crate is in there, along with food and water and he already sleeps in the crate with his puppy pad beside it. He is a jewel and uses that without problem. I just don't know how to get him to go back to the puppy pad during the day. My Pom has been very difficult to housebreak and still has problems sometimes. He will not break to puppy pads and I have to take him outside. I just don't want my Poms bad habits to rub off on Aiko. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance and I look foward to getting to know everyone. |

| Yeah, it's just been so cold here in Tennessee. He was the runt of the litter and is sooo small, I just can't make myself take him outside in below freezing, plus since the breeders already started out by pad training him I figured since he took to it I would stick with it. Thank you for all of the warm welcomes! |

| Welcome to YT. Would love to meet both your fur-babies. As for training, well I kept mine in an expen attached to the front of the crate, then put potty-pad down at the opposite end, then attached the water dish to the pen and put toys down. I'll see if I can find a picture of this set up to show you............. found it. This is just to show how I sat it up.

| Wow, I lived in Murfreesboro all my life up until September. My family is still there so I'm there ALL the time. In fact most of my stuff is still there since my apartment is so tiny. |
