| For those that use K9 Advantix How long do you wait to give them a bath after applying K9 Advantix? Reason why I am asking is that I have heard, don't bath for 2 days before and after applying and most recently don't bath for 4 days after apply. So which is it 2 days or 4? |

| I don't know if this is right, but this is what we do. I give Kaji a bath Sunday, I give the Advantix on a Tuesday or Wednesday night, and then bath on Sunday again. We don't have a flea problem, which makes me assume it's working.

| K-9 We use K9 and have for over a year now and with success too. Our vet said to never give up on the flea stuff cause here in SoCal, it's never cold enough for the buggers to die, use it all year around, or some thing. I called the 800# on the box, the cust. service lady said that the stuff was "set" in 2-3 hrs, BUT not to give them a bath for 24 hrs cause that washes off the protection. SOOO for 3 hrs Sprocket wears the onsie and hates it on the day before its bath time. Once a month. Then next day, bath time, pretty baby, he thinks he's so special after all the grooming etc. I must admit, I like a "fresh" smelling dog too. And the playing too much fun.

| I have never heard of waiting 2 days after a bath before appling it...I was always told to wait 2 days after appling it before bathing. I bath Bella and as soon as she is dry I put it on...and she never has fleas so it must be working...and I live in South Florida where the fleas NEVER die...lol...its a must here.

| I'm curious about this too. I think I read once here on YT to apply it 3 days before a bath, and it's safe to bathe 3 days after. Everyone probably does it slightly different.

| My vet said to apply it after a bath when they are completely dry, so after I bathe her and she is dry I put it on and then bathe her in a week.

| I'm still confused as to how long to wait. It seems like everyone waits a different amount of time. |

This is the same thing I do. Bathe her, wait till dry, maybe the next day, Apply flea treatment, and wait a week until the next bath.
