Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Howling? Does your yorkie howl? My older cross breed terrier will howl when she is playing and my yorkie pup has started doing this the past few days. I was just wondering if it was a yorkie thing or if Poppy is copying off Jess P.S. She dosnt do it all the time just when she gets excited

| I've heard Jackson howl twice! I wish he would do it more! LOL. I think it's sooo cute. One time my step-dad got him all riled up, and he was making howling noises so Jackson copied. Last week, Jackson started howling in his sleep! He must have had a crazy dream!

| When we were driving down the street an ambulance drove by with the sirens going and Gizmo starting howling for the first time. It was funny. Now he'll howl if I howl and for the sirens.

| My Boo Boo is a howler! Every time I come home he runs around in circles, and then jumps up on my legs trying to get my attention. If I don't reach down and pick him up soon enough he starts to howl at me. It's the most pathetic little howl I've ever heard, but it's so adorable. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | I'm sooooooo jealous! I don't think Thor knows how to howl. I've never heard it at least. Maybe we need to start hanging around police stations.

That'll surely teach Thor how to howl. Or the cops will get suspicious of the crazy lady hanging out by the police station. Kaji barely knows how to bark so howling is probably out of the question. He knows how to growl, and did one big boy bark. Just one. It was the first bark in months.

| I don't think I've ever heard them howl. Kinda glad though, they do enough barking. All I need is for them to make more noise. LOL Seeing a 4 lb dog howl would be pretty funny.

| OH MY GOODNESS!! That must be funny but I am just happy my six have not learned how to howl, they make a big enough noise if just went out to get the post and come back inside. Can't imagine what it must sound like if they were to teach each other to howl. |

| Willie doesn't howl anymore. He used to when he was still a pup, whenever someone he loved left the room. Now he's all grown up he doesn't do it anymore, and I really wish he would. It was so cute! Now if he does anything, it's during play, and it's just kind of like a half howl, like he's trying to do it but has forgotten how. Turns out something like "oww? Oww?" |
