| New hair growth coming in thicker and darker I don't know if any of you guys remember when Uni was itching a lot and scratching the heck out of her shoulders and breaking off her hair. Well after we switched foods, she stopped itching and the hair is growing back in thicker, a bit coarser, but still soft, and the color is darker! It's funny looking b/c now her grey around the upper part of her body is shortish and dark, and towards her back to the butt and tail is very light grey. Looks like she's wearing a t-shirt! Also the gold on the upper arms is also growing in very bright tan. You can really see the difference in the sunlight. maybe I can get a pic tomorrow. I like how she's getting darker, just as I was accepting that she was gonna be a very light one! LOL Now I wonder if all her fur will change or just the shoulders??? She's almost 3 yrs old so I thought she was done with the color change.

| The color change you are seeing from the damaged areas may be temporary... usually the new growth hair will grow in darker, but in a few months, I think depending on environmental conditions, it will lighten to it's original color. At least in my experience and what I have read. I was wondering how you all were doing concerning her itchies. So glad to hear she's improving. I still love her no matter what color she is!

| Aw yay I'm glad her hairs doing better with a new food. And ya know what's odd... I've been noticing Jackson's hair getting darker again, too! It turned really silver and now it's getting darker again (still silver, just a darker color) and his roots are darker than the ends. Crazy how much they change!
