The color change you are seeing from the damaged areas may be temporary... usually the new growth hair will grow in darker, but in a few months, I think depending on environmental conditions, it will lighten to it's original color. At least in my experience and what I have read. I was wondering how you all were doing concerning her itchies. So glad to hear she's improving. I still love her no matter what color she is!
