| Poop in the food bowl?? Just a question. Has anyone else noticed that when your baby poops in their crate it ends up in their food bowl?? I noticed it with my others and now when I go in to get Wally in the morning his little poop is in with the food!

| Have you tried raising their food and water dish a little? Prince doesn't use a crate any more, but I think that would help. I've seen food and water dishes at PetSmart that hook onto the side of the crate.

| I checked PetSmart site and couldn't find what I was referring to. It was something like this... Crate Bowls, Food-Water Dish for Crates.Lowest Prices!

| When it is my Yorkie's bedtime and I put her in the crate for the night I set her water and food out of the crate. However, around three a.m. she wimpers to let me know that she needs to go out. She is 5 months old and can't make it through the night yet without going potty. Maybe you need a large crate and also setting the bowls a little higher as suggested before might work.

| My Wally is 3mo. Believe it or not I have a large bird dish that I hook on the cage for the water. Maybe I will get one for the food. I just think it's funny because he's been here for 5 days and 2 times his little poop was in the bowl. The crate is plenty big enough. I have his little bed on one side and the small food bowl and water hanging on the other side.

| try a hamster water bottle for water and then you have more room for food and you can macgyver a hanger for the food dish with extra long zip strips just wrap them around and zip on the other side of the wire then you can lift up and put back without rdiong it over and over and you dont have to buy a new bowl

| I don't put food/water in Kodi's crate at night, but I was putting it in his playpen when I leave for work and one day I found the same thing. It's gross!!!! I am not sure if he actually pooped in there or flung it when her flung his pee pad around. This is his favorite thing to do lately! Needless to say I feed him in the am and take dishes out before I leave for work or the mess will be ridiculous!!!!! Lisa Kodi's new mom |
