| Pet insurance question I need to get pet insurance for Keoki and was wondering if anyone had thoughts on VPI or PetsBest- I got VPI but ran into a friend who said it was horrible and still have time to cancel but wanted your thoughts- with the tough economy I need back-up for my baby and would like to get your thought/opinions on what's best- thank you! |

To be honest with you, I don't think pet insurance is all that great. most of them wont cover major surgies or things like that. However, i'm sure since i left working as a vet tech 3 yrs ago, things have changed. I'd ask your vet what they think. Good Luck!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have VPI on all 3 of mine and have had no problems. They do not cover hereditery conditions like liver shunt and LP or pre existing conditions but they have always paid quickly and pretty good. I have used it a lot on Cali and have gotten probably 2500.00 on her. I have never used it on Roxie and once on Pixie. I just like knowing that I can afford any emergencies that could come up. JMO
