| Help!!!!!!!!!! Hello, My neighbor has a silk terrier I believe and he will sleep in his bed all night and not use the bathroom. However, when she leaves for work and her son is at school he would go in the house (hes 5 years old and clearly he can hold it since he does at night. SO they put him in a crate during the day and he goes in it everyday and does not leave it alone (enough said lol) They have to clean the crate everyday! PLEASE let me know if you have any advice so I can pass it on! Thanks!!!!

| Most likely they are feeding him in the morning and leaving him before he can relieve himself. How many hours is he being left in the crate? If he is being left all day then maybe they could consider getting a x-pen so he can have a little more room. Also the type of food they are feeding could make a difference too. Cheap dog foods that have lots of grain tend to make dogs go more often. |

| Maybe you can offer her some advice since you see them washing the crate out everyday. Thats just so sad being left like that all day. I would tell them about an Xpen pen or a baby gate. Also you can suggest for them to feed in the morning. Other than that do they like this dog? Please let us know. |
