| Soccer Ball EMERGENCY!!! Simon's beloved soccer ball has been discontinued by Petsmart It's the ToyShoppe Playables one and I became crazy lady at the manager today. Seriously, remember the Busy Bee Lady in the movie Best in Show? That was me today. Needless to say I went to 2 Petsmarts and purchased all they have. I now have my mom, dad, and friends searching the US for soccer balls shhhhhhhh............Let's not tell Simon |

| You have got to be kidding me! Those are the only soccer balls, well any balls, my Jackson & Tucker will play with. I have bought many "lookalikes" but they will not play with them! I sure hope that I can get some before they are gone, or I will have some unhappy yorkies!

| Its so hard to actually find a toy that gets their interest and then they are gone! Good luck in your hunt!

| Oh no! If these are the ones I think they are, I will be so upset. My babies love these!

| Have no fear...There is a substitute!!! The ToyShoppe Playables recently came out with Durables. And, I am happy to report that they are a plus with my crew. I would highly suggest the green ball. It squeaks just like the old soccer ball did but is much improved in the area of durability. So, not as many trips back to PetSmart for replacements. | Are those green ones light weight? I think the reason Simon loves his soccer ball so much is because he likes to jump up and catch it in the air I tried a small tennis ball once and he got so bored with it!! Thanks for the replacement idea |

| I know that feeling of panic when you can't get something your baby wants and needs Simon without a soccer ball is like eating peanut butter without jelly! LOL Buddy lost his his beloved hedgehog last year and I went nut's finding another. It was not the same but close. I just bought yet another rubber clown yesterday when I saw it because his second one is on it's way out. He sucks them to death. I was lucky because only the A&P carries it and it's been 5yrs so far and it's still there from time to time. PM me if I can help get the soccer balls for Simon. |

| They are not as soft as the old soccer balls were. But, they are smaller which for my crew compensates for the firmness. They are exactly the right size for all my furry butts which are 3lbs to 7lbs. And, it isn't too firm that they can't bite it or too soft that it collapses like the old soccer balls did. Nor, does the squeaker give out like the old ones. I purchased one just to give it a try. Got it home, squeaked it once to get the attention of my crew and tossed it. And, the rest was history! I went out and bought five more so that each of my babies could have their own and that was six months ago. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | LOL, Kim!! I just had the same issue a week or so ago at Petmart - they were discontinuing Wylie's plastic Hot Dogs and the plastic Newspaper - I was all OMG - and bought every last one. I came home w/ about 7 Newspapers and 5 Hot Dogs and my hubby looked at me and just couldn't even say a THING. Speechless. But not surprised, really...

| I know how you feel. Petco discontinued Sophie's AKC Training Treats. I bought them out when they were the manager's special a couple weeks ago. PetSmart is a little further away but I'll make the trip to see if they carry them. Why do these pet store buyers discontinue the popular items Jackie & Sophie |
