Soccer Ball EMERGENCY!!!

I went to our local Petsmart & bought a whole bunch for $1.97/ea. I don't think they're discontinuing it (at least where I was)...I saw a whole bunch of non-wrapped ones for $1.99, the same soccer ball. They had a whole section of rubber toys & balls & newspaper (not sure if that's the one Anne was talking about) for $1.99.
Anyway, if anybody's furbaby needs one, PM me!

Thanks for the heads up, Kim. April and mommy are heading to petsmart tomorrow to check out their inventory. Right now we only have two new ones still in the package and 3 on the floor. Since Rozi has started training now and adds more wear to the balls and April can NOT be without her soccer balls either

Maybe everyone who sees this can buy all they find at petsmart and sell them to those of us with furbabies who can't live without them? just an idea

Have no fear...There is a substitute!!! The ToyShoppe Playables recently came out with Durables. And, I am happy to report that they are a plus with my crew. I would highly suggest the green ball. It squeaks just like the old soccer ball did but is much improved in the area of durability. So, not as many trips back to PetSmart for replacements.

I saw these at Petsmart, they're super small & cute & easy to sqeeze. I should've bought one for Momo (bc he loves sqeaky balls) & he can easily carry it in his little mouth. But I got so caught up on getting the soccer balls, it totally slipped my mind! Lol I'll go back & get it later. Thanks for the heads up.

I saw the Durables balls at Petsmart, too. They're smaller than the Playable but not quite as soft. I don't know if my smallest could sqeeze it enough to sqeak. If you get one, let me know how your babies do with it.

i saw a bunch of soccer balls much like the ones you were talking about at the dollar tree where i'm from the other day. not the exact same brand, but they were squeaky soccer balls nonetheless

It looks the same, and I measured mine at 2 1/2"-3" so it's about the right size. I wonder how soft it is.

These two balls look to be the same. I have the one from petco. it is larger and harder. Morgan can pick it up in her mouth but it takes some finessing to get it in there. LOL

the soccer ball that this thread is about is smaller and squishier. Easier to pick up and can be caught in the air like simon does (tho morgan can't do that either LOL)
