| Attention Seeker Trixie is turning into such an attention seeker. She cries all day... It's not a 'health or medical problem', she just cries to play and get attention!!! How do I stop this??? Also, my husband says Trixie is really calm when he is home alone with her (when I am at work), but she gets sooooo excited and wild when I come home. It's only for about half an hour. But she jumps, licks, bites at both of us. She does the same the other way around. When I am home alone with her she's calm, but then when he comes home, she's all over him AND me for a while. It's fun that she is excited when you come home, but she's over the top excited. I try to pet her first and then not to give her attention for a while to quiet her down, but she DEMANDS it. Any suggestions? |

| Is there other times that Trixie do that ? Jade and Mitsou does it only when I come home . When I see they are too excited ,I don't even pay attention to them . They demands too but I don't pay attention. I know it can be hard to do . Last edited by Diego; 09-24-2005 at 05:48 AM. |

| Mine does that too. When i come home and sit down she will run up to my leg and poke it with her nose and wine then sit down infront of me and stare at me then she'll repeat it again. If i keep ignoring her she will then nip at my pants and pull them and then let out a bark. I'd like to know the answer to your question too. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | BOTH my girls FREAK out when I come home - takes them a good 20 minutes to stop kissing me and jumping around - Chanel will do her Pogo Jumps ....her Elvis Face and Smile her butt off - Cheri lets out little screams and kisses me all over my head - I think it's cool and I love it but I understand what your saying - I just go with the flow and kiss mine back - I can never get enough |

| I dont know that there is away to get them to not be so excited when you come home. Jewels runs circles around you and Chachi jumps up in the air and makes a funny noise untill you pick him up.

| Missy used to cry so much for attention and no matter how much I'd give her the minute I stop she started craying again. Soo.... I gave her a companion Max, she's been a very happy and entertained girl ever since. No more crying. I think you should get another yorkie to keep her busy

| Chloe would drive me nuts, and I am retired, so am home a lot. She always wants to play, brings me toys and barks. My solution was to get Lacey, now when I'm not available, they run and run, all through the house, until they are too tired to do anything. So, my advice, get another one. |

| I have a Trixie too! Anyways.. both of my girls do this. Right now, Trixie goes NUTS since she's still new and don't like to be left along. She is asking for attention alot too.. but we give it to her ALL the time--we are weak! haha
