Trixie is turning into such an attention seeker. She cries all day... It's not a 'health or medical problem', she just cries to play and get attention!!! How do I stop this???

Also, my husband says Trixie is really calm when he is home alone with her (when I am at work), but she gets sooooo excited and wild when I come home. It's only for about half an hour. But she jumps, licks, bites at both of us. She does the same the other way around. When I am home alone with her she's calm, but then when he comes home, she's all over him AND me for a while. It's fun that she is excited when you come home, but she's over the top excited. I try to pet her first and then not to give her attention for a while to quiet her down, but she DEMANDS it. Any suggestions?
