| Peeing on bed My 9 mo, old male just peed on my bed for the first time. In fact, he peed on my PJ's and housecoat that was laying on the bed. He has not yet been neutered. Why do you think he did it, and how can I keep him from doing it again? |

| Get him neutered. He is marking his territory. Marking is a very strong instinct that can only be stopped with neutering. If the habit goes on for too long though - neutering may not even solve the issue. Then I would suggest trying belly bands. Besides those options, training can help... but it's going to be hard because you will have to watch him like a hawk 24/7 and if not, place him somewhere confined. When he begins to lift that leg, immediately say a loud "NO!" or some other key word.

| Before we had Oscar neutered he peed everywhere to mark his territory, it was awful! As soon as he was neutered he stopped, thank goodness! |
