| Which one should go first male or female I will be taking my 3 yorkies this summer to get spayed and neutered. I have 1 female and 2 males. Does it matter which one gets it done first. Male or female? |

| I would probably suggest doing it by age. Who is the oldest?

| i personally would get the males done first if they are all the same age. that way you can really help to prevent the male adult behaviors (lifting leg, marking, etc). plus a neuter is a much simpler, less invasive surgery. i feel much more comfortable with neutering early on than i do spaying at a early age...JMO of course

| Daisy and Bo are from the same litter. Rosco is not and is a couple weeks younger than them. He is 13 wks. old. |

| I would have the female spayed, unless you are going to take both males in together. If the female goes into heat you will have a little rivalry going on in your home... |

| I would be neutering my males first....Definitely do not want them to get that marking instinct or hiking a leg..... Joyce
