| Odd behavior and agreesion My male yorkie is 3 yrs old. In the last 2 months he has had 2 episodes of becoming agitated. He will go lay in his bed and growl at everyone who comes near him(even me)which is not like him at all.He will come into the living room and look us and bark and go back to his bed.He will continously do this most of the day.I have noticed him "humping" in his bed more than usual. He is eating and going to the bathroom as usual. Is this a male problem or should he go to the vet.I'm worried he could be in pain. When this happened before it lasted a day then he was back to normal. |

| Is he neutered? Is he guarding food or toys? Welcome to YT! Hopefully you will find the answer to your problem.

| Is there a reason why he is not neutered? If he is guarding his toys do not let him have free access to the toys. Make him earn them and after he plays you will need to put them up. Neutering will help with not only his health and well being but also his dominance and aggression issues. The agitation is most likely do to him not being neutered and will not go away if his is not. If he is acting this way and you do not neuter him the behaviors will only escalate
