| I got all three of my girls spayed by the time they were 6 months. I dropped them off in the morining and picked them up later that evening. They were back to their happy littel selves by the next day. I only had to give pain med for a day or so. I never did collar instead i had premie onsies on them and also i use bellyband so they wont play with the stitches.

| Ellie was spayed. She was not quite herself for a couple weeks but I think the onesie made her upset. She wore a onesie, not a collar, and I left it on for a couple weeks. She was interested in food the night of her surgery and peed the next morning.

| It took Lola about 4 days to be herself. I did bring her food to her bed and babied her to death. She is another dog now. Acts like a puppy running everywhere. Im soooo glad I did this... |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Zoey was back to herself with a bit of stiffness the next day. I didn't put any collar on her. I did take the day off after to be with her to keep an eye on her.

| mine cost about $800 per each dog spay since i asked for intensive blood test to be run, and also I asked for extra IV fluid and anything extra you can think of. Also they got their baby teeth removed and also microchipped. she was an excellent vet so I don't really mind paying that much at all.

| I had Lucy spayed at six and a half months old (around 5lbs). I took her in in the morning, they ran full bloods, carried out the op and then kept her in overnight (which they like to do with small or very elderly dogs). When I picked her up the following morning, she was slightly drowsy for the rest of that day - although still pottered around quite happily with no pain meds. I put her in a onesie, but she managed to wriggle out of it. However, since she never licked or chewed her stitches, I just left it off. I paid £220 (incl. bloods) Edit: She also had a baby tooth removed at the same time.

| the hardest thing for me was trying to keep molly quiet for 2 weeks, which is what the vet recommended! she was back to her usual self after a couple of days, but hated the collar. |

| I paid somewhere around $150ish for the spay plus blood work. Abdominal surgeries would be much more at this place but they do lower cost spay/neuter. Ellie got blood work done, an IV, surgery on a heated surface, e-collar, pain meds, anesthetic monitoring, Isoflurane and she came home the same day.

| Fiona was spayed 3 weeks after her first heat. I had the pre-op bloodwork done she did great they removed her last baby tooth and the total cost was $219.00. Vet said she did great, and she had a fast recovery time. just the first night she was really groggy, and we had to make sure she didnt jump up and down gave her anitbiotics, leash walked, kept her dry, and i left a t- shirt on her so she would lick at her incision, which she didnt.

| I spayed Juicy when she was 6 months old. It took about two days for her to start being herself again. We didnt use collars, we used a newborn onesie to protect her stitches.
