| Do you take your dog w/you in a doggy "purse?" I am a new owner...just wondering how many of you take your dog everywhere...and do you carry him/her in one of those dog carrier/purses? I can't imagine my puppy will ever go for that. |

| I take Lexi places when I can. I do have a "purse". Inside the purse is a strap with a hook at the end, which you can attach to the harness. I guess the strap is a little long, and Lexi is a little on the smaller side, so she often tries to climb right out of the "purse". Today, I went to a couple of stores, and I put a blanket in the wagon seat and just had her there. I held her leash short, though, so she couldn't jump or climb out. When it's nicer out, I sometimes use her stroller. Welcome!

| I take my Suri everywhere. She usually just sleeps in my jacket. Or I just tuck her under my arm. I still have yet to use a purse. (but I might if I found a cute one )

| No purse for Bailey! She hates 'em. But I do carry her in my arms when I can - and of course, those places are limited. I take her to HomeDepot, Lowes, Feldmans, Westlakes, etc.

| when mickey and i were younger i used to put mickey in my overall on our way to the vet because the vet's office was 5 min walk from my house, my nanny and i would just walk but then again, back then small dogs weren't very popular and they didn't make special doggie purses now mickey's too big and heavy for me to carry it in a purse though i am DYING to buy the LV dog carrier (but probably isn't worh the money so ill settle for the coach version) |

| They have a lot of cute purses that they can see out of, but not many people can see her. Best wishes finding her one.

| Yes! Dixie LOVES her "bag" as I call it. It's a purse/carrier made for dogs. But I've had several people ask me if it were really my purse because it's leopard print and super cute! She rides in the car in it as well and has never tried to get out. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | I inherited several doggie purses from Thor's former owner, and I've been taking him everywhere in them, even (ahem) grocery stores and casual restaurants. He doesn't like being put in the bag, but once he's in, he relaxes. They all have some discreet meshing on every side so he can see out, but it's not obvious there's a dog inside. I do find it a little awkward to carry the bag on my arm, because I don't want to clamp down on him the way I normally would with a purse. It would also be nice to have a purse that has a separate comparment on the end for other things I need to carry, like my wallet. And I have my eye out for a smaller carrier, since he's so tiny. If you're interested, I can post some pictures. |

| I have dog purses...and bags...My girls love them... Because they get to go alot of places with me that they might not if I had them in my arms... Yorkies like small cozy spaces...so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

| Chloe has a couple dog carrier/purses. I like ones that look like a purse with pockets so no one knows she is in there. They have mesh on both ends so she can see out. I do want a chromebones or petfly's carrier...more of a hard sided type as mine are all soft sided. She is very good about going places . I try to take her to places I have asked if she can go so I don't feel stressed or on edge the whole time ...She is welcomed at our Home Depot/Lowes/Our Outdoor mall ( when it's warmer !) and several of the shops in there , and of course pet stores. High end shops seem to have less of a problem with pets , so sometimes I just go there so she can go out with me I take her as often as I can , but I don't want to disturb others so I wouldn't take her to movies or very nice restaurants ...Though I HAVE seen dogs in the movies !! But hey , they were quieter than the kids that were in there
