I take Lexi places when I can. I do have a "purse". Inside the purse is a strap with a hook at the end, which you can attach to the harness. I guess the strap is a little long, and Lexi is a little on the smaller side, so she often tries to climb right out of the "purse". Today, I went to a couple of stores, and I put a blanket in the wagon seat and just had her there. I held her leash short, though, so she couldn't jump or climb out.
When it's nicer out, I sometimes use her stroller.
