| Gross Boy Dogs.. Honestly, my boy lives up to the stereotype of boys being gross. I know a lot of dogs eat their own poop.. but mine has taken it to a new level. Recently, every couple days or so I notice him gagging. I go over to check, and there it is.. vomit... that is still in the texture and color of poo. I mean, honestly... how disgusting can you be? Anyone have any cures for this? It must be upsetting his belly and I'd like to figure out how to make this not happen.

| I've heard if you feed him a few bites of pineapple for several days in a row, his poo will taste bad to him. It's worth a try anyway. Good luck!!

| Hmm.. that's a new one! I LOVE pineapple so I'm definitely willing to try that! Thanks. I've also heard something about chicken seasoning salt? I don't think I like that one very much. I'm not going to try unless someone has and it works.

| It's not just boys that eat their own vomit... dogs in general do this. It's because in the wild, they reguritate their food for their young and it's just instinct for them.

| Your right GROSS!!! It's not just the boys, my Trixie does it too. I have four "skin" kids and this tops any and all the disgusting stuff that came out of them lol. I tried the pineapple but it didn't work. Maybe I didn't do it long enough. She loved the pineapple though so I'll try again. The other babies think she's getting a treat so they get some too. Just this morning my Coco went poop on the paper and while I was getting a tissue to pick it up, guess what... Trixie ate some of it. What is wrong with her. Like I've said before, we buy the best most nutricious food and are careful what we feed them and they eat poop. Gotta love them!! COCO PEBBLES TRIXIE |

| haha - I know it's not just the boys, I just think it's funny that my girl is so dainty and graceful and my boy is eating poop. So stereotypical of boys to be grosssss! haha.

| If you figure out how to get them to quit eating poo, please let me know. I've done the tablets with no luck and am now beginning the second week of pineapple. So far I haven't noticed too much of a change. Hopefully you will have better luck with it. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I am not an expert, but heard when they do this it is because they are not getting enough nutrients. Maybe someone here will be able to help you.

| They also do it because their food isn't all the way digested in their systems and their poop still tastes like "food" to them.

| I was told to give them a couple teaspoons of yogurt... I tried it and it seemed to help. Someone mentioned to me that it was because they weren't getting a certain nutrient in their diet and that's why they do it. But the yogurt did the trick for me, so whenever I see him doing that - I get the yogurt out. Good luck.

| I've tried every remedy out there and never found one that works except to clean up immediately. I have 5 and 3 of them do this. I even have one who will follow the others around she she can get it before it hits the ground. I now only let her out alone. |
