That's interesting, the reason pineapple works is because it contains an enzyme, that helps digest the protein, some dog foods contain a harder to digest protein, and the enzyme help breaks the protein down so the poop doesn't have any undigested protein in it, making it less appetizing. Yogurt too, contains bacteria or enzymes, and perhaps these also add in the digestion of protein. I know yogurt is said to be good for digestion, but I didn't know exactly why.
