| Yorkie Colouring - UK View Hello Yorkie Lovers We love the style and movement of so many American Yorkies BUT it seems to me the UK Yorkies have the better colours. For the future of the breed we feel show people should try to stop enhancing ( dyeing ) their dogs particularly their blue body coats. No one talks about it but surely longterm something has to happen to stop this practise. What do you think ?Happy Christmas and All the Very Best to Yorkie Lovers everywhere. |

| I think they like the darker yorkies in Europe, but I am not positive about that. I'd like to hear more about this too.

| Someone had posted a video of someone grooming their pup prior to a showing and he did spray on added color to make the blue more blue and the tan more tan. He even used a flat iron on the coat; Maybelline will not stand still for the hair dryer much less a flat iron LOL. That has been several months ago, but someone may remember where it was posted.
