| How many dogs do people own I have 2 yorkies and an 8 lb poodle and want another yorkie. I have 2 fixed females and the poodle is a male. They get along very well and are very friendly. Does anyone foresee a problem with bringing another puppy in to my household. I would never do anything to upset them but I would love another one. I have this Yorkie addiction. My car seat and stroller will hold another little one. I just had a birthday and hope senility hasn't set in yet. They keep me on my feet and young with their antics. I'd like to hear from others. Senior Yorkie Talker | I have 5 adult dog's and one of them just had puppies and I am keeping two.Grand total of 7 I am crazier than you.You shouldn't have a problem as long as you think you can handle it.I keep some of my dogs seperate from others but only when I am not home.

| I don't think you're crazy at all - I have three and would love some more but 1) hubby 2) town where I live, says no more, as a matter of fact the bylaw calls for two dogs only so I'll not push my luck - but I know the feeling, they are great fun to have around and always a good laugh.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Go for it Judy. If you know it fit into your lifestyle, and you have the room, then why not? I have a 12 year old Dashund,a 9 mo old yorkie, and a 9 week old Peekapoo, and 3 under 3 year old cats...ALL MALES, and they love and play together. Even though Pongo id old,the other ones keep him young. They seem to know when enough is enough. They let him rest when he needs to,or they will bark if he wonders too far, He also keeps an eye on the baby. Add to your family...the more he merrier!!!!! My teenagers do their own things, and I turn 40 in December,so maybe it is that midlife thing, but why not..I've earned it!!! My husband loves them also,he acts like the daddy of them all,and they listen to him so well.Keep me posted..Good Luck!!!

| I was content with two at any given time. The reason I say so is because in my own circumstance I feel it's more affordable, I'm able to give attention and easier clean up. |

| Trick question....how many do I own or how many live in my house? I have 4 that live in my house--2 Yorkies, 1 Biewer, and 1 Basset Hound...and a few other furbutts running around elsewhere that I lay claim to. |

| 25!! Just kidding though it feels that way some times We have 3, A Yorkie mix who is almost 1, A hairless Chinese Crested who is 1 and 4 months and a big black lab who is going on 10years old. They are all boys. I too live in town and am only supposed to have 2 If I ever get to move out side of town I will have more!! My suggestion to you though would be to get another boy, some times it is harder to introduce another female to females. |
