| I doubt it, I'd say your dogs would be scratching at them or something... have you checked them? They're usually really easy to see if you check on their belly, face and butt as fleas don't like light. That or you can bathe them in Original Dawn dish soap and they should fall off. Try putting a flea preventative on them to help keep them from getting them.

| Depending on how long the hair on your babies is, you should see some signs. For example, when Scooter got fleas, I didn't see them day one but I noticed black stuff in bed once he got up. It took me a while to put it together but when I put Scooter on his back and looked closely (especially around his boy parts) I could see little things that turned out to be fleas. I took him to PetCo for a flea dip and cleaned everything he had touched. I also spoke with my vet who switched him from the liquid meds you put on thier skin to once a month pills. While I was warned that there may be a reoccurance, there was not one. Do you see little black junk when they get up from where they have been laying for a while? Do you see anything crawling on them (trust me, they are hard to spot at first)? If you aren't sure but have some idea that your babies may have them, take them to a groomer and get thier opinion. They can get a flea dip from the groomer which saves you so much time and hassle with the special flea shampoos and all if they do have them. Good luck!

| Have your dogs been scratching? I know I have been checking my two lately for fleas, because Duke keeps scratching and biting himself, haven't seen anything! Even bathed them both yesterday, sure enough today I picked him up, saw one flea on my shirt, so I look on his back and there is another tiny little flea! Most likely you will notice if they get any on them, but if you are just worried about it right now then you might want to get something like advantage or frontline.
