| Callie threw up Well Callie was sleeping a little more then normal tonight while me and my grandma where up late watching the olympics she normaly will chew on a bone or throw her treat stick around and stick her head our the doggy door grab a bug ewwwwie and normaly eat it but tonight she did play a little but mostly she layed down and feel asleep or tiredly chewed on her bone and when we finaly went to bed I could not fall asleep so I was just laying there and Callie kept moving around and was restless sounding then I heard her get up from her bed and move quickly to the door and she threw up (she normaly goes out the doggy door and atleast makes it out the door before she throw up if she has to which she dosent do that often but sometimes after a long car trip she will get home and run outside and get sick) but she threw and I picked her up and went and asked my grandma if she could help me clean it while I tended to Callie and made sure she was ok so I took her to the doggy door and she went out and I watched her and she went pee and came back in and went back to her bed so I got some water and took it to her and she wouldnt drink so I tucked her back in with her blankie and everything and now I cannot go back to sleep worried she will get sick again so I am sitting in my bed with the laptop hoping she will be ok. She is sleeping but snoring a little which she only does when she is really tired normaly or dosent feel good and ocasionaly breathing hard like a sign almost. Do u think she just has a tummy ach?

| I think you should phone your vet for peace of mind. Has she ate anything out of the norm that may have caused her stomach to be upset? When Alfie was throwing up, I phoned the vet to be sure. It turned out I gave him a bit of fruit (which I know I shouldn't have but he loved it) that didn't agree with him. The vet told me to take his food away from him and not to feed him for 24 hours but to leave fresh water out for him. She also said to give him a tablespoon of milk and if he was no better in the morning I had to bring him in. I thought he wouldn't have taken it but he did and after a few hours he started perking up and was back to normal again the next day.

| I dont' agree with the withholding food for just ONE episode of throwing up. Try feeding her this morning and see how it goes. THey all throw up! lol... and every time Layla does i get SO worried but she is usually fine- probably just ate soemthing she shoudln't have. Let us know how she is this morning. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Roxie threw up last night about 8 pm and was a little more sleepy than normal. I did feed her at 10 pm just a little bit and she did fine. I have no idea why she threw up but shse seems fine today. Hopefully Callie is doing better today. I usually watch if they throw up once or twice. If it continues or they throw up a lot in a short period of time, then I take them in.

| Alfie had serious vomiting and diaheorria, the vet did tell me to cut out food for 24 hours but I did feed them that night. But that was really scary, I knew he wasn't right that morning when I got up. He wasn't his usual tear away self. He was shaking and everything. I think it was scaring him too because thats the first time he was sick. Hope Callie is ok.

| Callie seems to be doing better this morning but its not really interested in her food or water but she just woke up and is walking around her yard checking to see if she missed anything last night and she greated my grandparents this morning a little less enthusiastic then normal but I think she is doing ok but might still have a little tummy ach but I put her in bed with me when I finaly was gonna try to go to sleep and she was cuddled in next to mommy sleepin but her tummy was making noises and that seems to have stopped so we will see as she wakes up more.

| I am glad Callie is feeling better. Keep an eye out on her, and make sure she is drinking water, and keeping it down. Make sure she is not weak from not eating as well. Every once in a while my Suzi will vomit for no aparent reason. And act fine. They are like people, and just need time to feel better after an upset tummy.
