| My Hero The strangest thing happened this morning. I was sound asleep when I was woken up by Buddy jumping on me and licking my face. I pushed him away and he just came back doing the same thing. I was really annoyed and yelled at him. Instead of backing off like he usually does ,because he's knows I'm mad, he came at me again. I said what the heck and looked to see what time it was. It was 6:02! OMG the alarm went off but there was no sound My hero was waking me up to go to work. He must have heard a click or something because there was no music coming out of the radio. It turned out the sound was all the way down for some strange reason and he saved me from being late. How smart are these Yorkies. It amazes me so many times just what they do comprehend. |

| Way to go Buddy! Its so funny you mention that because yesterday we lost power at my job and they sent us home early. I pulled up in the driveway and the babies weren't at the window barking which they normally do when I get home at my normal time. I went in the house and said 'hello babies' then they all ran to me and started barking and jumping. I guess they kinda know what time mommy normally comes home and yesterday I caught them off guard. My neighbor says that he just doesn't understand how my babies start barking when I'm around the corner and I don't understand how they see my truck because my house sits back and my neighbors house blocks the street view in the direction I come through. I guess they just know. |

| My "outside" dog is always home at 5:30 sitting in front of the garage door waiting for me. But if I get home at 5:00 - forget it- he's still out roaming the countryside. I do think they have internal clocks. |

My dogs alert me when my daughter is coming to visit. They must hear her truck or something. (I never know when she will show up.. she just drops in.) They do not react to anyone else's car that way. Unless it is mine or my husbands. Could it be that they are eager for her to get here... she brings her dog over for a play date.. once in a while.

| Buddy's Your Hero!!!!!!! Paris does that too, when i was living with my mom, in her apartments, my cousin, who stayed at home while we all worked said that Paris could "sense" my car approaching from anywhere in the house and run to the window and wait for me to get home (its was so heart warming to see her in the window right as i was parking my car) Now that i'm in my own apartment, i live on the third floor in a corner of the building. And when i drive up from the opposite side of the building, i can see Paris in the patio window pacing. And i know she hears me because she'll stop all of sudden and look towards my direction. If i'm far enough i can see all of this, but after i get pass the middle of the building its hard to see the bottom of my patio door. so i like to stop my car to wear i can see her, because it just continues to prove how much love she has for me and as soon as i beep the alarm after i park and i look up and she dashes out of the window and waits at the door. Geez, the little things our dogs do that makes us melt.

| That's so sweet. Mine would have never done that - they would have just kept sleeping contentedly by my side. Buddy is very, very smart! Good job, Buddy.
