| I went through this with Winstin. It is a trip. I actually took him to our fair grounds last weekend, for some training. It worked. I held him and the first few people he looked at he barked and growled some. I would tell him no but that did not work. So, I resorted to very gently, let me stress the word GENTLE, I took the back of his neck like his mom would do and would touch him and say no. It worked. We were there six hours and he was the best little boy. Now in my back yard in the fence he still barks but people laugh. As soon as they say hi to him he stops. The thing is be consistent and keep working with your baby. The best thing you can do is keep taking her around people. it will get better. Is she in a fence or on a leash? Hope this helps.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I feel for you We have one of those small "cool off" pools. Monday I purchased a chaise floating chair for me and the dogs to float in. While we are'nt in it,it floats around, and now they all bark at it. To them it must look "alive" because it's moving,so I have to shut my blinds at night,or they don't stop barking at it!!!LOL Too funny!!!

| I don't know how old she is, but it is my thinking that she needs more socialization. I would take her lots of different kinds of places and let her meet lots of people. They should be socialized at an early age, so you will have a puppy that is at ease in all kinds of social situations and hopefully not a barker.

| Take treats outside with you and call her back to you and give her a treat. It will teach her to come and also stop her from barking. Loki was REALLY bad about this (he still is, but we manage it better) and now if I see someone coming and he is about to bark or starts to bark I just yell "TREAT" and he turns around and runs right to me. Sometimes he barks on his way back into the house, but that's Loki... (He earns his name)

| Taz was the worst. Barked and growled at inanimate objects, people, dogs, everything. I tried several tactics and none worked. Squeaky toy, treats, gentle "no bark". What worked for me is a medicine vial with coins in it. When he barks, I shake it and say "No Barking". IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM. By the 3rd time, he just looked at the person and went on his way.
